My friends and I decided to go here for a quick lunch, and it was not crowded on the Friday noon. Service was friendly but a bit slow. The good side is that the food was overall better than I expected. I got the nacho chili cheese fries for $6 and 8 wings for $7. We agreed the tacos and fries were good, but don't order the wings; they were well-cooked but bland. I would come here again. Food is good, clean and cheap.

Service was great out waitress was very attentive and even gave us time we asked for between taking our course orders, it was pouring rain and we wanted to draw out our time there to wit it out. It is a very casual place we sat at a cool painted picnic table inside there's no outdoor seating which was fine because it was raining anyway. The $3 margaritas from what my mom said were on the weak side but my piña colada was delicious I don't like very strong drinks so I can't complain it was a perfect balance. The mango smoothie we got for my son was good as well refreshing a little sweeter than I like him to have but it's vacation after all and we got "special" drinks so I had to get him something yummy. Appetizers we had the chips and salsa and lime wings as well as the spicy mango. All were very good I especially loved the spicy mango wings they had a little kick they def had good flavor! Lunch we ordered the kids quesadilla and French fries wish they had chicken quesadillas for the kids but I'm sure if I asked they would have had no problems adding it the service was really good. I just didn't think of it. My burrito was stuffed with steak and was very good. My boyfriends nacho mamas nachos order was huge he ate a quarter of it and took the rest home he enjoyed it as well. All in all it was a great lunch spot and I would definitely return even just for another Piña Colada;)

Walked in not knowing what we are going to have, had a decent meal. The queso dip was very good. The salsa was lacking. I had some sort of huge burrito it is pretty good I would go back for that again. Overall it was an average meal for good price.

They have the tastiest cheese nachos I ever had. I think they season the nachos with what taste like old bay. They give you a pretty big portion.

We stopped by nacho mamas every day of our vacation. This is one of if not the only place I. The area that doesn't try to up the prices on everything to take advantage of the tourism. Our first visit we wondered in and ordered some nachos and house margaritas. The nachos were great and an awesome portion. The $3 house margarita was not so much great (very very sugary tasting) but at $3 I wasn't expecting it to be fabulous. Our next 2 visits were for drinks solely. This place has $3 drafts all the time which is a steal in this area and happy hour is from 4 to 7pm with $2 dollar drafts. Who wouldn't love that! I got a little daring and tried the signature daiquiri and it was amazing! The staff was super friendly on each visit and we also met the owner on one of our visits who was very nice. We loved this place and it is definitely a must hit if you are looking for some decent drinks without paying a crazy amount of money for them.

Don't waste your time with this place. Positives were that the server was pleasant and the salsa was good and fresh. That's where the positives end. The place only had a few customers but the pace of service was glacially slow. The food was not good...my steak burrito was made with Steakum meat. What Mexican joint does that? The margaritas were pure mix straight out of a premade mix. I honestly don't believe there was any tequila in it. No wonder they were $3 but frankly, I'd rather pay an extra buck or two and get a better product. Needless to say, we will not return.

House margarita was good. Cheese fries were okay, but nothing else we ordered was good. We ordered the amigos nachos, not much meat at all and beef was dry. Restaurant had no AC, it was so hot. Yelp says they had salsa bar, no such thing.

Nacho Mamas was excellent! Great atmosphere and wonderful service! My wife and I stopped in during the off season while on our honeymoon and met the owner while dining here. We had a great time. I recommend the fajita nachos with chicken! Ask Rick about his dolphin story! And enjoy!!

We had chips and guac/salsa. The guacamole and salsa was home made and tasty. Some of the chips were a bit soggy but may have been bc we were there just before close. They have good Margaritas too. They even gave us extra! They also have a small outdoor section. The owner (Rick) is cool and laid back. He owns the coffee place down the road. Will go back for sure.

While getting coffee a block away at the boardwalk, the clerk informed me he was also the owner and also the owner of Nacho Mamas. He gave me a business card for 10% off my purchase. My boyfriend and I decided to go ahead and get a cheap lunch. Business must be slow for several reasons but none are bad. We walked in to an empty Nacho Mamas and sat at the bar. The menu was fair in pricing and food portion was very reasonable. Our bartender was very helpful in making food suggestions since we had a hard time choosing just one thing off the menu because of many delicious options. Once we made our order and had a few drinks (try the frozen mango margaritas) our total was around $35 with the 10% off card. The bartender even highlighted that you can get 10% off the next time you came in with the receipt. My boyfriend wanted to get coffee at the same place the next morning of our stay. We didn't grab a card this time around but a female clerk served us today and told us we could get 10% with our receipt over at Nacho Mamas. My guess as to why they are somewhat generous with the 10% is because of location and the overall size of the space is small. I recommend eating here!!

My wife and I were walking around Myrtle Beach and we're looking for a random restaurant to try. The outside of the restaurant looked inviting enough so we went inside to try the food. I ordered the Mexican burger and my wife ordered a chicken burrito. My wife was given a beef burrito instead of a chicken one but she went ahead and ate that one instead. My burger was served with guacamole, pico de gallo, and jalapenos. The side with the burger was some potato tater tots that were supposed to pass for Mexican french fries which is hardly Mexican at all. Nonetheless it was an interesting combination. My wife definitely like the rice and beans that came with the burrito and they seemed very authentic and made by hand. However the burrito was I good attempt at a burrito but nothing near some of the other good burritos that she has tried before. There was one waiter who was helping everyone and was also the bartender and was in charge of the music via Pandora. He was very nice but seemed to be overwhelmed with everything that he had to do. It took quite a while to get our food sent to us but the place was interesting enough that we didn't mind too much. Overall there are other Mexican restaurants that I would try before going here but if you are close and there's nothing else around and you just want to stop in you can try it.

Nacho Mama's was a great meal at a reasonable price. We had chicken tacos and carne asada with rice and beans. Everything was very tasty. My husband especially liked that the carne asada tacos were served on corn tortillas. Authentic! And there is a whole wall of different hot sauces to try. Hubby enjoyed that very much, too. Good food, good prices. We will go back. Only reason for 3 stars instead of 4 is the karaoke, it was a little loud for the size of the place.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
